1. Does my Boost Mobile™ phone come with voicemail?
A: Yes it does! Record a personalized greeting using your Boost Mobile™ voicemail when you are not available to answer your calls.
2. How do I set up my Boost Mobile™ voicemail?
A: Don't want to take a call? Set up your Boost Mobile™ voicemail! You must set up your voicemail box before you can retrieve messages. Here's how to set up your Boost Mobile™ voicemail:
On your Boost Mobile™ phone, dial your 10-digit Boost Mobile™ phone number. For example: 123-555-3333 IF you are calling from another phone other than your mobile, dial your 10-digit Boost Mobile™ phone number. When you hear the greeting, press * to access your Boost Mobile™ voicemail box. The system will say "Enter your password". Enter the last 7-digits of your Boost Mobile™phone number (NOT your Boost Walkie-Talkie number). For example: 555-3333. Follow the systems instructions to create a new 4-7-digit password, Record your name and record a greeting. When the system says "Enjoy using your Boost Mobile™ voicemail", your mailbox is set up.
3. How do I send unanswered calls to my Boost Mobile™ voicemail?
A: Press End Call or press NO while your phone is ringing to transfer the call to voicemail. The Envelope will appear to remind you that you have a stored voicemail message.
4. How do I access my Boost Mobile™ voicemail to hear my messages?
A: Hit Mesg. The Message Center screen will show.
Scroll to voicemail. The number of new and total voicemail messages will show.
Hit CALL to get into your voicemail. (If you hear "Enter the phone number of the subscriber you are trying to reach", enter your own 10-digit Boost Mobile™ phone number. When the greeting plays, press * and get ready to enter your password).
Enter your password. Follow the instructions for playing, saving, and deleting messages.
5. Is there a way to make my phone vibrate when someone leaves me message as opposed to having it ring until I turn it off?
A: Yes. You have the option of having your phone ring, vibrate or silent when someone leaves you a message. Here's how you can choose:
Press Menu
Scroll to Settings. Hit Select
Choose Ring/Vibe. Hit Select.
Scroll down to voicemail. Hit Select.
Hit Change, and choose either Ring, Vibrate or Silent. Hit Select.
Your ring type has now been changed. So now when people leave you a message your Boost Mobile™ phone will ring, vibrate or be silent.
